Japanese Red Pine #123 (Field Grown Raw Stock)
Field Grown Japanese Red Pine.
Very healthy with great movement and awesome potential for future bonsai. Tight root ball in good bonsai soil for easy transfer into bonsai containers in the future.
Approximately 45 cm from soil line to top of growth.
My favourite pine species for bonsai use. Very similar in growth habit and care to Japanese Black Pine, but with softer and thinner needles. A double flush pine.
Bark beginning to flake and show signs of maturity. Red-brown bark, which exfoliates with age and becomes flaky and papery.
Buds popping in useful places.
Rare species in NZ.
Field grown at our nursery in North Waikato, each tree is uniquely shaped and treated to ensure no two trees we sell are ever the same.
Note: all trees are packaged up over the weekend to be sent out via courier on a Monday. This ensures the tree will get to you before the end of the week, but will usually arrive within a few days. We take extreme care in the packaging and shipping of our trees, to ensure you don’t have to worry about damage on their journey to you.
